Hello and welcome! I'm Ben, a graphic designer with over 18 years of experience in the field. I love photography, capturing the beauty around me.
California Roots and Florida Education
Born and raised in the Golden State, my love for design led me to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Design and Visual Communications at Pensacola Christian College in the Sunshine State. I began my professional career at the Birdwell Agency in Pensacola, setting the foundation for my career in design.
Back to California
After my time in Florida, I returned to California to work at Champion Nutrition in Concord, tackling various marketing projects. Later, I joined Cutwater in San Francisco, focusing on creating print, web, and outdoor assets for high-profile clients.
On to Tennessee
At Ramsey Solutions in Franklin, I provided broadcast and live event team creative support, believing that my most significant contribution is their current 'R' logo mark. I later moved on to Change Healthcare, contributing to rebranding initiatives and asset management, among other projects.
Following Optum's acquisition of Change Healthcare in 2022, I've continued applying my expertise to create meaningful and impactful work.
My Philosophy and Personal Interests
Design is a lifelong passion, not just a job. I believe in crafting designs beyond aesthetics to form meaningful bonds between brands and people. While the landscapes have changed from California's coastlines to Tennessee's countryside, the inspiration I draw from my weekend photography remains a constant.
